Refund policy

Guillotine will gladly accept exchanges or returns within 14 days of the date of purchase provided that:

  • All returns must be received in the original condition along with the original sales receipt.
  • They must not have been worn, altered or washed.
  • All original tags must be attached and items must be returned in the original packaging.
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to accept international returns and exchanges at this time. The high cost of international shipping, along with potential customs fees and logistical challenges, makes it difficult for us to offer this service while maintaining our commitment to sustainability and fair pricing.

Items are to be returned to The Guillotine Store within 14 days of purchase or order delivery date.

For all exchanges and returns please get in touch with Guillotine at info@guillotinebylisajaffe.com within 4 days of receiving your online order.  In the email, include the details of your purchase, order number, the reason for return and whether you would like a store credit or exchange. 

Our partner brands (GUILLOTINE, PICHULIK, ROMARIA and L’MAD) can be exchanged for other brand items of your choice within the Guillotine Store. The original sales receipt must be provided to reflect that the item/s were purchased from The Guillotine Store. We cannot do exchanges or store credits if the item/s were purchased from any other store. If the item/s were purchased from another store they must be returned or exchanged from the store where the purchase was originally made.

Exchanges are subject to availability and will be sent after receiving your returned item in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

No store credit will be accepted on sale or promotional merchandise, however, you may exchange it within 14 days of purchase.

Please note colours and lengths may vary slightly due to photography as well as model height /size.

Gift cards are non-refundable.

If the item was purchased as a gift shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

PLEASE NOTE: if you are unable to return the items to us in store then  items may be couriered back to us but please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please see the following if you need assistance:

  • You can make use of the PostNet service and have it sent to PostNet Rand Steam, please provide all tracking information via email along with your original order number
  • You can use your own courier service and have it sent to the Guillotine Store at 44 Stanley Avenue
  • Contact the Guillotine team on info@guillotinebylisajaffe.com  to have us arrange with our courier service to collect your item/s. There will be a fee of R150 that needs to be paid beforehand should you want to exchange. If you would like a store credit then R150 will be  taken off your original payment for this option too.

For exchanges: once the customer has sent out the item/s and the Guillotine team has received the item/s then they will send out the new item/s to them with a relevant tracking number.
For returns and store credit: once the Guillotine team has received the item/s and the return conditions are met, we will then issue out a store credit via email in the form of a gift card/voucher, to the value of your purchase and provide you with all relevant information.
