The oversized, gender-fluid coat is created from a single Kharetsa blanket without side seams, preserving its form and meaning. Inspired by the spiral aloe endemic to Lesotho’s Maluti Mountains, its central motif is framed by shield imagery and the iconic Basotho hat. Worn closed, the coat reveals its shield-like form; opened at the final press stud, it creates a concealed lapel.
Seanamarena neck warmers feature the Poone corncob motif, symbolising fertility and wealth. Worn as a bold neck shield or tucked beneath a coat as a warm cravat, they balance function and distinctive form. Coordinating scarves bring colour, warmth and statement to everyday dressing.
Hand-finished throughout, the collection honours the history and symbolism of Basotho blankets through contemporary design.
