Wrapt X Guillotine

Born from an intuitive exchange between Hannelie Bekker of WRAPT Knitwear and Lisa Jaffe of Guillotine, WRAPT x GUILLOTINE brings two distinct practices into conversation. Minimalist silhouettes, tactile fibres and thoughtful construction reveal a shared respect for material integrity and the hand of the maker. Rooted in contemporary South African design and crafted from locally sourced and produced merino and mohair fibres, the edit balances softness with strength and fluidity with structure. Hand Before Machine is a contemporary collaboration shaped by feeling, form and weightless, insulating warmth.

Wrapt X Guillotine

A Dialogue in Form and Fibre.

The WRAPT x GUILLOTINE Edit is a natural convergence of two South African brands with a shared commitment to minimalist design, material integrity and softly sculptural form. Created through an instinctive dialogue between Hannelie Bekker of WRAPT Knitwear and Lisa Jaffe of Guillotine, the collection brings their aligned sensibilities into tangible form through texture, proportion and thoughtful construction. Quietly expressive and wearable, each piece explores the relationship between softness and strength, fluidity and structure. The result is a contemporary collection shaped by feeling and intention, designed to bring comfort, presence and individuality to everyday dressing.
“There is a quiet tension woven through these pieces between softness and strength, fluidity and structure. It is within this delicate balance that I find the most compelling expression of what femininity can be.”
— Lisa Jaffe
