Regular price
R 2,350.00
Inspired by the Ichiyo School of Ikebana, this piece reminds us that power exists in dynamic balance: kindness with boundaries, expression with discipline, freedom with responsibility.
This piece has inter-linked ropes and is adjustable.
MATERIAL DETAILS:
- Thin braid rope embellished with a Brass tube, hand-painted wooden balls and pearl brass cuffs. Finished with brass end caps.
- This product weighs 70g and is 20cm long.
Brass
Jewellers brass is made from copper and zinc and has a golden lustre. A natural patina will develop over time giving it a matte finish.
1. To remove dirt, use a brass cleaner like Brasso.
2. To finish, use our polishing cloth to remove patina and restore shine. Maintaining long up and down strokes to clean the jewellery. Be sure to use different parts of the cloth to avoid spreading any tarnish.
Silver
Sterling silver is an alloyed metal, normally made of 92.5% pure silver and other metals.
1. Mix 1/2 cup of white vinegar with 2 tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl of lukewarm water. Let the silver soak for two to three hours.
2. Remove jewellery and gently rinse and dry.
If your brass or silver jewellery is darkened or appears dirty, then it has patined; patina is simply the result of a chemical reaction with oxygen or sulfur particles in the air.
Rope
1. Fill a bowl with lukewarm water and add a few drops of mild dish soap
2. Dip a clean cloth in the water and gently wipe.
