ROMARIA Maua Tee

Romaria collaborated with Mpho Vackier, a process engineer turned furniture designer and owner of award winning furniture and product design brand, TheUrbanative. 

TheUrbanative is known for telling African stories through functional design. 

While conceptualising our unified collection, we turned to the vast, untamed spaces and unimaginable beauty of Africa. 

‘Maua’ is a Swahili word which means ‘flowers’. The contemporary floral shaped pattern is exclusively designed for Romaria.   

We set out on a mission – to design the perfect knitted tee, mission accomplished. 

The tee is made of a soft lightweight cotton knit, designed to complement your Romaria collection. You’ll want to wear it every day.  

Designed in Johannesburg.  

Slowly, well made in South Africa.

FABRICATION: 100% cotton, light weight textured knit with front pocket  

COLOURS: Black, oat 

PROCESS: Jacquard machine knitted 

SIZES: Available in two sizes; S/M & L/XL 

Size S/M generally fits size 30-32-34 & size L/XL generally fits size 36-38-40. Due to the forgiving nature of knitwear, our sizes can either go slightly up or down 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Delicate machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30° maximum, or cold water is recommended. Flat dry away from direct sunlight.
